What are the characteristics of steel ring coated nylon powder

Steel ring coated nylon powder is usually white, and there are several processing methods according to different processes, corresponding to different types of powder.

1. Pre coated wire is processed into a steel ring, represented by Belgian steel wire glue coating. The entire coil of wire is pre coated with fine nylon powder (10 micron-40 microns particle size) through high-frequency heating. Due to its fast wire speed, it can usually reach a speed of over 30 meters per minute. After powder coating, a second heating is required to assist in nylon melting and leveling. This process has production costs, but the equipment requirements for post formed steel rings are high.

2. Vibration disc coating, this process is the same as the production of underwear buckles, and the steel ring is coated with powder after forming, but the production efficiency is low.

3. Fluidized bed coating, clamp both ends of the fixture, and apply the coating in the fluidized powder by heating with a metal tin solution or high-frequency heating method. The exposed end of the fixture without powder coating is then individually nodded and sealed.

Steel ring nodding nylon powder

Nodding on stainless steel rims, as the rims are relatively thin, in order to avoid blackening due to high temperatures, the melting point temperature of nylon powder should be as low as possible. It is better to use it below 180 ℃, and the dry powder flowability is good to form a smooth and full packaging effect. Nodding is most commonly used in small fluidization tanks for a more beautiful appearance. The end of the rims usually needs to be wrapped in plastic to prevent puncturing and scratching the skin. The most commonly used epoxy powder coating for nodding is easy to package, but the product is brittle and external impact can cause cracking and delamination. High end requirements are gradually shifting to nylon powder coating for nodding.
